Once formed, you and your neighbors "watch" your neighborhood, communicate regularly with officers, and meet with your neighbors often enough to keep apprised of new information.
As a member, you will be encouraged to register your email address with the Neighborhood Watch office. You will then be eligible to receive the quarterly newsletter and monthly crime trend information. This will assist you and your neighbors in protecting your neighborhood from crime.
Setup for Success
The success of Neighborhood Watch depends on citizen involvement. While the Police Department will assist in many ways, it is the responsibility of the individual Neighborhood Watch groups to keep the program active in their neighborhood.
